It’s easy to forget, but the low-carb craze still hasn’t reached numerous parts of the U.S. And, of course, many Americans have simply dismissed the diets in favor of their old standbys. In Texas, mom-and-pop restaurants are still serving tons of potatoes and deep-fried goodness
