CNBC has an excellent article on new products falsely claiming to be low on carbohydrates. The publication says consumers should be on the look out for: new labels on old products; tricky labeling (“carb-friendly” instead of “low-carb”); marketing of net carbs; and dietary supplements that claim to block the absorption of carbs.
