Frozen pizza market burned by low-carb diets

According to a new study, low-carb dieting is the primary reason for the recent stagnation in frozen pizza sales.

bq. Although the U.S. market for frozen pizzas controlled nearly $3.7 billion, or 27%, of retail sales in the $13.4 billion market for frozen meals, snacks, and appetizers in 2003, growth in the category is expected to slow to $4.3 billion by 2008.
