Baseball fans won't have to break their diets to enjoy a good day at the ballpark--Sportsevice announced several new low-carb items for various teams across the country. Sportservice provides concessions at over 50 stadiums and arenas in North America.
- St. Louis Cardinals' Busch Stadium - grilled veggie and chicken Caesar wraps, lettuce-wrapped burgers, braised pork 'wings', made-from-scratch Nantucket clam chowder, orange-glazed pork tenderloin, sauteed prawns pescatori
- Cleveland Indians' Jacobs Field - stir-fry, broiled meats and seafood, bison burgers, grilled salmon, chicken breast and guilt-free turkey hot dogs, available on Schwebel's low-carb buns or a lettuce leaf and served with a side salad
- San Diego Padres' new PETCO Park - Hunan chicken, hummus wraps, Szechwan dumplings and tangerine peel beef, California wraps, grilled tuna steak sandwiches and veggie burgers
- Texas Rangers' Ballpark in Arlington - Turkey wraps, fresh salads and
cracked black pepper sausages
- Toronto Blue Jays' SkyDome - Veggie dogs and burgers, fruit cups, low-carb beer and salads
- Chicago White Sox' U.S. Cellular Field - steak pita
- Cincinnati Reds' Great American Ball Park - specialty
burgers, farm-raised chicken, panini sandwiches and other hearty meat entrees
