Compared to other popular beers, Guinness offers fewer calories, fewer carbohydrates, and protection against heart attacks, blindness and maybe even impotence, according to a new study.
Guinness, in fact, is lower in alcohol, calories and carbs than Samuel Adams, Budweiser, Heineken and almost every other major-brand beer not classified as light or low-carb. It has fewer calories and carbs than low-fat milk and orange juice, too.
CarbWire is an online magazine of everything low-carb. Whether you're already on a diet, or are just doing research, we provide the most up-to-date info on the web.
