Lifeway Foods to offer low-carb kefir

Lifeway Foods has announced a new line of no-sugar-added kefirs designed for followers of low-carb diets. The cultured dairy product will be showcased at the Summer Fancy Food Show in New York City June 27-29, and will be available in stores later this year.

Lifeway’s low-carb kefirs will come in strawberries n’cream, mixed berry, tropical fruit, and strawberry-banana varieties as well as in an original, unsweetened version. They will have 8 grams of carbs and 2.5 grams of fat per 8-ounce serving.
