low-carb-123.jpgeDiets has posted a review of the new “Low Carb 1-2-3″ cookbook, which features 225 three-ingredient recipes.

bq. The title of “Low Carb 1-2-3″ is both true and misleading: Some amazing recipes lie within its green-tinted pages, but simplicity and ease aren’t the same thing.
Instead, Gold and nutritionist Helen Kimmel make you work for fantastic tasting and heathful food. The pair teamed up to adapt Gold’s 1-2-3 approach to low-carbohydrate cooking but take the concept one step further and make sure each recipe also is low in calories and saturated fat.

Some of the recipes become repetitive (you need only coat a meat in pesto with ground nuts so many times before we get the point) but otherwise all are winners. Provide the elbow grease, and Gold likely will change how you approach cooking — low-fat, low-carb or otherwise.
