Filed under: Health — Tags: — admin @ 10:28 am

Long’s announced today that its Fry It Right coating has been earmarked as “diabetic friendly” by the Glycemic Research Institute. Instead of high-glycemic flour or traditional bread coatings usually used in fried foods, Long’s Fry It Right can be used on chicken, fish, beef, or vegetables fried in canola oil and be considered “safe” for diabetics, the results report.

The coating can currently be purchased online and is expected to make it to retail stores later this year.
