Review Of Anti-Atkins Book Sparks Heated Controversy

Earlier this week, I wrote a review of a new diet book by a couple of skinny models who have never had a weight problem in their life.
They also happen to be card-carrying members of PETA (People Eating Tasty Animals!) and are quite vocal in their opinion about the Atkins diet with such statements as “you are a total moron if you think the Atkins Diet will make you thin!”
Here was my reaction to that statement in the review:
bq. I guess you’re gonna have to call me a “moron” because that’s exactly what the Atkins diet did for me! I was transformed from a 410-pound ticking time bomb on the verge of a certain heart attack down to an athletic and healthy 225-pound man ready to live a long and healthy life in just ONE year.
Well, that book review stirred up a hornet’s nest of responses from several irritated vegans, including this one who threatened to sue me for expressing my opinions about veganism.
bq. All I can say is BRING IT ON, buddy! My First Amendment right to free speech will NOT be trampled upon by any threats made by a venomous vegan or anyone else. I will NOT stop speaking my opinions about health, weight loss, and diet because I have a duty to share my low-carb weight loss success story with others so they can live a long and healthy life free from worries about their obesity just like I did.
Catch up on all the drama of this story by clicking here. Something tells me we haven’t heard the last from these venomous vegans about their disdain for low-carb living!
