Review: House Foods Tofu Shirataki Noodles

Do you remember when the Ralph Macchio character named Daniel in The Karate Kid movie would yell the word “Bonzai” to help him remember to stay focused on his training (okay, so I’m dating myself by referencing THAT movie, I know!)?

Well, I’ve got a new word I want you to yell to remind yourself to stay focused on the low-carb lifestyle. It’s this — “shirataki!”

I first introduced you to these miraculous Japanese noodles last week and even reviewed the Konjac brand for you.

But wait until you try the House Foods Tofu Shirataki noodles! WOWsers!

bq. Since I had already tried another brand of shirataki noodles previously, I was expecting them to be similar when I put them in my mouth. But imagine my surprise when I started chewing and noticed they were soft like real pasta and weren’t as “chewy” as the other brands.
