Anything Wrong With Drinking A Brewski On Low-Carb?

Now here's a thought-provoking question for you:

Should you drink alcohol while losing weight on low-carb?

What do YOU think about that? As a nondrinker, I don't have firsthand knowledge of what adult beverages such as beer, wine and champagne will do to your body and your efforts to lose weight the low-carb way.

But that was a question that one of my readers posed to me in an e-mail:

My husband and I live a very social life and there are lots of drinking events we like to attend. The problem is that I like to drink socially. Considering that alcohol is low in carbs and if I count each drop that I drink, am I allowed to consume alcohol and still lose weight?
