Vegan To Atkins Dieters: ‘Your Internal Organs Probably Hate You’

I certainly do not criticize or find fault in anyone who chooses to lose weight and get healthy using other methods besides the low-carb lifestyle. However, when someone uses their opposition to my preferred way of eating just to prop their own dietary choice, THAT I do have a BIG problem with.

Case in point: A few months ago, I reviewed a book called “Skinny Bitch” in which the two beautiful authors who have never been fat in their entire lives described anyone who chooses to follow the Atkins diet as a “moron.”

Of course, as someone who lost 180 pounds on the Atkins diet, I had to share my two cents worth to this negative assertion which seemed to bring out the wrath of every vegan on the planet to attack me personally.

It seems there might have been a few vegans who didn’t see my book review when it first came out because I received another comment today from a vegan supporter in California.

bq. Congratulations on your weight loss! I just feel bad that you had to willingly put your body into a state of ketosis to do it. Your body may be smaller, but your internal organs probably hate you. Can you actually conceive of the amount of stress you have put on your kidneys, liver, heart, brain, skin, spleen, and I really get nauseated thinking about how disgusting your colon is. RANK!!!
