Pork Is Pork Is Pork, Right? Maybe Not!

Food blogger Helen Rennie from the “Beyond Salmon” blog conducted an experiment with pork recently in an effort to prove that pork is pork is pork.

Working off the premise that it’s all the same, she purchased your everyday garden variety pork chop and compared it to the top-of-the-line Kurobuta pork chop.

Can you tell which is the better quality piece of meat?

Needless to say, the taste difference was well worth the extra money spent on the Kurobuta pork chop, Rennie noted.

For people following a low-carb diet, choosing quality foods will make you healthier and make your weight loss and weight maintenance experience that much more enjoyable. Click here to read more about Rennie’s experiment with pork.
