The Best Post-WLS Diet Is Low-Carb

It’s a little-known secret outside of the inner circles of the weight loss surgery (WLS) community, but the very best way to lose weight and keep it off after being under the knife is actually the low-carb lifestyle.

Doesn’t this kinda beg the question: If you are going to eat low-carb AFTER having WLS, then why don’t you try eating low-carb INSTEAD of WLS? Is that too logical a question to ask? Perhaps I’m just oversimplifying it.

bq. It’s nice to know that livin’ la vida low-carb is a great way to lose and maintain your weight, even for those who have had the experience of going through weight loss surgery. While I am so thankful the low-carb lifestyle worked well enough for me to lose weight without resorting to WLS, I am equally appreciative that this way of eating fits so perfectly within the lifestyle of those who have been through this surgery. Now, they are livin’ la vida low-carb! Yee haw!
