When Losing Weight, Let It All Hang Out

There's a new school of thought that says if you really want to lose weight, then you will go public with your desire to do so in order to be held accountable to others in your efforts. Isn't that better than going it alone?

Doesn't that just stand to reason? If you have a bunch of people observing you during your weight loss, then aren't you going to try that much harder to prove to them that you WILL do this?
