‘Smart Spot’ Products Not A Smart Choice For Healthy Living

I wanted to alert you to a brand new symbol that you may notice pop up on some popular products on grocery store shelves. It’s called the “Smart Spot” and was conceived by PepsiCo (PEP) as a consumer marketing campaign to promote their so-called healthy product line.

Unfortunately for consumers, many of the recommended products that are allegedly “better” and “healthy” are so loaded with sugar and unnecessary carbohydrates that they are NOT good choices at all for people who are on the low-carb lifestyle.

Here are a few examples of the recommended “Smart Spot” products:
