Halloween can still be a blast for your kids and those of your neighbor even if you don't give out candy, as I pointed out last Friday on this blog.

In fact, it saddens and alarms me that we've been so conditioned to think of candy the minute we conjure up images of a night of Halloween fun.

Well, apparently editors at a number of major websites are thrilled with my tips to give out goofy gifts and other party favors rather than sweets. It's been quite gratifying that one outlet after another has picked up my story, "Don’t Spook Kids By Giving Non-Nutritious Candy This Halloween!
