It’s time to stir up another controversial subject in Episode 57 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore” when I discuss the unique role of weight as it relates to career opportunities and advancement. You don’t really hear a lot of people talk about it much, but obesity could be having a greater impact on your life besides your health. But now it makes so much sense.

Do you buy into this theory that the bigger you are the less earning potential you will have because of a societal stigma? Or is there something else that prevents overweight and obese people from breaking through the glass ceiling that has them bogged down in their career? Let me hear from you if you have firsthand experience of being denied promotions or job advancements because of your weight or if you are a successful obese person. This is a fascinating topic that I encourage all points of view to share.

On Thursday’s podcast this week, I will be sharing my interview with bariatric physician Dr. Joan Temmerman from the recent American Society of Bariatric Physicians obesity conference in Nashville, Tennessee. THANK YOU for making “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore” the #1 podcast show on the Internet today and one of the top new diet and health-related podcasts of 2007.
