What Exactly Does A Low-Carb Diet Look Like?

Everybody wants to know what I eat on my low-carb diet. It has always been mildly amusing to me to get this question because it is a surefire way of knowing when someone hasn’t actually read any book about low-carb. If you have read Dr. Atkins’ New Diet Revolution, for example, then you know the kinds of foods you can eat on this incredibly delicious and nutritious dietary approach.

Nevertheless, I understand people like practicality and seeing what worked for other people. That’s why I’ve posted six weeks of my menus so you can see how this low-carber eats. While I think we’re all different and have varying tolerances for carbohydrates, the basic foods consumed are just about the same regardless of your low-carb plan.

That’s why Episode 11 of “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb On YouTube” features many of the foods that make up what my daily menu consists of. It shouldn’t be surprising to anyone who has either read my blog for any length of time or has been livin’ la vida low-carb themselves. I couldn’t possibly bring EVERYTHING you can eat on low-carb in front of the camera, but this is a good start.
