Blogger’s Robots Lock ‘Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb’ Blog For The Second Time In A Month

Just when I thought some semblance of “normal” was returning to my online life, along comes a message from Blogger in my e-mail box today that says:

Your blog at: has been identified as a potential spam blog

NOT AGAIN! Many of you will recall they did this to me less than a month ago and shut down my ability to post anything to the “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb” blog for an entire week. That was about as frustrating as it gets.

But YOU can help me! Please go to my formal complaint page at the Blogger Help Group forum and let them know that is NOT a spam blog. So many of you responded the last time and they finally unlocked it. With your help, they’ll do it quicker this time.

THANKS everyone! I wish they’d leave my blog alone now.

Here’s the message I left at the Blogger Help Group forum:

It has now been less than a month since my blog was locked by Blogger and now it has happened today. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Why is this happening Blogger? What is the purpose of causing so much angst and stress on people who are simply trying to spread encouragement and information across the blogosphere?

Just for the record, my blog is NOT spam…AGAIN!

Why wouldn’t you flag a blog in your system so your algorithm doesn’t tag it as “spam” again? That just makes good common sense, but it’s obviously not happening. I would appreciate it if you could unlock my blog in less than one week this time around. You ruined me that week and it took me until just now to catch up with all the work that piled up while you kept me locked out.

This is just wrong…AGAIN!

I’d appreciate it if you would unlock my blog ASAP. THANK YOU!

Jimmy Moore

The Blogger/Google technician who unlocked my blog before is Mishka and it may not hurt for this person to get some e-mails from people, too. The e-mail address to contact mishka is THANK YOU everyone for your help getting my blog back. :)

5-19-08 UPDATE: IT’S BACK NOW! Thank you to everyone who helped with this over the weekend. Your assistance was GREATLY appreciated. :D
