‘The Great Worldwide Sugar-Out Challenge’ Encourages YOU To Quit Sugar For A Day

Commit to going sugar-free during this special global event this week

When I decided to begin my low-carb weight loss journey on January 1, 2004, one of the primary platforms of my strategy for being successful was to completely get rid of sugar in my diet. While it may sound impossible, especially to those of you who are addicted to sugary sodas, snack cakes, and other sugar-filled foods, it is a goal worth reaching for and achieving. There’s an event coming up on Friday that will give YOU a chance to overcome this addiction with people from around the globe.

It’s called The Great Worldwide Sugar-Out Challenge and sponsored by my fellow sugar-shunning blogging buddy Connie Bennett, author of the thoroughly researched and well-written SUGAR SHOCK!: How Sweets and Simple Carbs Can Derail Your Life–And How You Can Get Back on Track. She hosts a “Gab With the Gurus” Radio Show on Blog Talk Radio and will be having a parade of outstanding guests for her special show coming Friday, January 16, 2009 beginning at 12:00PM EST–including Dr. Nancy Appleton, Ann Louise Gittleman, Roberta Ruggiero, Dr. Larry McCleary, Steven J. Bock, M.D., Dr. Scott Olson, and myself, Jimmy Moore. We’ll all be talking about how removing sugar from your diet will produce AMAZING changes in your weight and health.
