Patrick Lecky: You Can Clinically ‘Cure’ Type 2 Diabetes With A Low-Carb Primal Foods Diet

Patrick Lecky says you can fight diabetes and defeat it for good

Millions of people are living with Type 2 diabetes today and have no idea that their condition could be clinically CURED by implementing the kind of low-carb strategies that Adam Campbell wrote about in Men’s Health magazine in November 2006. But with the American Diabetes Association (ADA) telling diabetics they can be on a low-fat, high-carb diet and eat just about whatever they’d like as long as they take their diabetes drugs and insulin, the problem is never solved (while the companies making the insulin and prescriptions continue to get richer and richer!). That’s why I like the approach that my podcast interview guest today has used for over a decade to control the impact of his diabetes.

In Episode 225 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” you’ll hear from Patrick “The Diabetic Warrior” Lecky who is a strong proponent of a low-carbohydrate “primal foods” nutritional approach for keeping blood sugar and insulin in diabetic patients under control naturally. Patrick has written a series of e-books that discuss how others can learn from the wisdom he has gained over the years and he talks about them extensively during the interview, including his own personal diabetes story and why the low-fat, high-carb diet is the worst possible thing a diabetic can do to their health. You WON’T want to miss this interview if you or someone you know are dealing with this issue of diabetes!

Coming up next week, I’m pleased to share two exciting interviews with you from a couple of dear friends of mine doing fantastic work for the cause of livin’ la vida low-carb. On Monday, I’m so excited to share my interview with comedian and independent filmmaker Tom Naughton who has put together a hilarious, yet highly-educational documentary called Fat Head that is now available on Amazon. As I shared in my blog interview from December 2007, Tom was dismayed by the outright lies that Super Size Me creator Morgan Spurlock shared in his critically-acclaimed theatrical release that he wanted to do a rebuttal movie of his own that would be just as entertaining and informative from a low-carb perspective. That’s right, he went on a low-carb fast food diet for nearly a month with some outstanding and surprising (not to us!) results. Whet your appetite for this interview NOW by checking out Dr. Mike Eades’ blog interview with Tom from this week. Then on Thursday, we have a returning guest to the show named Karly Pitman from “First Ourselves” to talk about low-carb and Valentine’s Day (yes, it coming next Saturday!). We get into the emotional aspect of that day, what it means to people who don’t feel loved, and some practical tips for gift-giving for the low-carbers in your life. What a week it’s gonna be! THANK YOU for listening!
