Laura Dolson, the Low-Carb Diets guide for About.com

The low-carb community is full of a lot of extremely talented and articulate people who have dedicated themselves to spreading the positive message of livin’ la vida low-carb to the masses. The online low-carb presence is very strong in 2009 because of some key players who are educating, encouraging, and inspiring people to implement carbohydrate restriction into their own lives. Blogs and web sites abound and you can see a lot of them at my low-carb links blog. Today’s podcast guest is one of the leading professional low-carb voices on the Internet today.

In Episode 233 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we hear from Laura Dolson who serves as the Low-Carb Diets guide for About.com. Laura is a good friend of mine because we are both working to share quality information about low-carb living with our respective readers. Her professionalism shines through in her writings and throughout this interivew. Hear Laura talk about what got her into low-carb diets, what the purpose of About.com is, the impact of Gary Taubes that will continue for many years to come, the merits of using artificial sweeteners, the benefits of a gluten-free diet, and so much more! There’s not a kinder person in the world of low-carb than Laura Dolson, so I’m happy to share her with you today.

His name is Dr. Sanford Siegal and you’ll be pleasantly surprised to learn what he thinks about livin’ la vida low-carb. It shocked me! Then on Thursday we hop across the Atlantic to hear from Shauna Reid to talk about her new book called The Amazing Adventures Of Dietgirl. A very popular diet blogger, she’ll be with us to discuss her incredible 175 pounds–HALF HER WEIGHT! She’ll have some inspiring tips to help you on your own journey to better health.
