Wanna Be Hot, Sexy, And Gorgeous? Dietitian Esther Blum Says Eat Fat, Skip The Carbs!

Esther Blum has all the secrets to looking and feeling “gorgeous”

One of the highest compliments you could ever give a woman is to describe her as “gorgeous.” There’s just something about the sound of that word that’s music to the ears of the female population like none other. Although our culture’s interpretation of what defines being sexy, hot, or “gorgeous” can be severely convoluted, not everyone embraces the unhealthy, ultra-thin, Hollywood model for looking this way. Today’s podcast guest is one such person who is proudly sharing her “secrets” for looking good and being as healthy as you can.

In Episode 243 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we hear from registered dietitian and holistic nutritionist Esther Blum, author of a brand new book entitled Secrets of Gorgeous: Hundreds of Ways to Live Well While Living It Up. She is committed to offering solid nutritional advice for people who want to be healthy and look the best that they can. Esther gives some excellent advice on what foods are best for skin health, supplements that are superior for people to be taking, cutting-edge info on fish oil and Vitamin D, getting over a hangover, the benefits of goji berries, an at-home thyroid test, and so much more. She discusses these things at length on her “Eat, Drink, and Be Gorgeous” web site. I’m so happy to share her wisdom with you today!

So what’s on tap for next week’s podcast interviews? We’ll share with you the story of former professional football player Mario Mariani on Monday who I heard about in this Alameda Sun news story. He once played for the Washington Redskins and in Canada for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, but allowed his weight to balloon up to over 300 pounds through poor eating habits after his playing days were over. After going on his own homemade version of the Atkins diet, Mario’s weight and health were improved incredibly as you will hear. Then on Thursday, we are treated to the First Lady of Nutrition Dr. Ann Louise Gittleman, author of the bestselling The Fat Flush Plan as well as a new updated version of her classic book Get the Sugar Out: 501 Simple Ways to Cut the Sugar Out of Any Diet. She is an amazing spokesperson for the benefits of sugar-free living and I’m honored to share her with you next week!

Keep on listening to the podcast and I’ll soon be announcing my upcoming schedule of interviews for May through July–YOU’RE GONNA LOVE IT! I’m always on the look out for new podcast guests, so feel free to send your suggestions to me anytime at livinlowcarbman@charter.net.
