Maureen Sullivan From ‘Lite For Life’: If You’re Overweight, Then You’re Likely Dealing With A Blood Sugar Disorder

PODCAST CHANGES UPDATE: We’re still working through the kinks with the new podcast web site at, so THANK YOU for your patience as we continue to move all the old podcast episodes over to this new site. My producer Kevin is working hard to get this finished by the end of July so that the new shows will resume being picked up by iTunes again. In fact, you can sign up for the feed and you’ll get the new shows updated on your iTunes feed. It’s not a perfect system right now, but we’re doing the best we can. I appreciate your support!

“Lite For Life” blood sugar control program founder Maureen Sullivan

For most people who start on a diet plan, obviously their expectation level is to lose weight. Unfortunately, weight loss in and of itself is not going to resolve the underlying issues behind why the weight got on your body in the first place. Control the blood sugar and insulin levels and weight loss will almost inevitably happen for anyone and everyone. My podcast interview guest today knows all about this personally and with the clients she works with.

In Episode 258 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we hear from the founder of a program called “Lite For Life” named Maureen Sullivan who advocates a lower-carb nutritional approach for controlling blood sugar levels. In this podcast, you’ll hear Maureen’s personal story about how she got her sugar under control, details about what the “Lite For Life” program is about, why it is perfect for diabetics, how this plan differs from the Atkins low-carb diet, and information on future openings of “Lite For Life” centers coming soon. While she advocates for a few more carbohydrates than many of us might consume, I think Maureen is contributing greatly to the low-carb education that is necessary to get blood sugar and insulin under control. Enjoy this interview with a disciple of the late Dr. Seale Harris.

There are three ways you can listen to Episode 258 (iTunes will return in a few weeks!):

2. Download the MP3 file of Episode 258 [17:52m]:

3. Calling (818) 688-2763 to listen via Podlinez

What did you think about Maureen Sullivan? Did she say anything that you’d like to respond to directly? Tell us about it in the show notes section of Episode 258. Pay a visit to Maureen’s web site for her “Lite For Life” program and get all the details about this lower-carb nutritional program by clicking here. Coming up on Thursday, we’ll have fitness and nutrition expert Ricardo Boye from Spa On Green Street with us!

It’s a transitionary period for the podcast show right now, so I need your help! With new shows not being updated on iTunes for at least a few more weeks, I would love to have your assistance promoting it there. And there’s something so easy that YOU can do to help make this happen. Simply visit the iTunes page for my podcast and write a review about the show. Special thanks to all of you who have already done this because it has helped keep the show in front of an audience of people who need to hear the message we share. I’d love to push the total number of reviews over 100 to make a REAL statement, so THANK YOU for doing your part to make that happen. Also, we would appreciate it if you clicked on the “Donate” button on the side panel of any of my web sites to make a contribution towards continuing the work of “Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show.” Your faithful support for the work I am doing does not go unnoticed. God bless you guys!
