‘Bloggeranza Week 2′ Continues With Amy Dungan From Healthy Low-Carb Living

We’ve hit the halfway point of “Bloggeranza Week 2″ featuring the best diet and health bloggers who are a part of the ever-expanding low-carb community. We’ve already had a great response to the interviews with Connie Bennett on Monday and Ann Marie Michaels on Tuesday. Coming up later in the week we’ll have Dr. Stephan Guyenet and Holly Hickman, but today’s podcast interview guest is one of the preeminent low-carb advocates on the Internet today!

In Episode 373 of “The Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore,” we get to hear from my friend and fellow low-carb blogger Amy Dungan from the “Healthy Low Carb Living Blog.” Listen to Amy share about her weight loss struggle until she found low-carb living in 2001, the story behind her blog name, the health benefits she’s experienced from eating low-carb, why she’s not a purist with her way of eating, her hungry and miserable existence while eating low-fat, her husband’s non-weight-loss low-carb story, the public confusion over lipids, why she is qualified to talk about low-carb and healthy living, her national exposure on ABC-TV’s web site about a negative low-carb diet study, how she became the St. Louis Low-Carb Examiner and the crazy response from the readers there, the death threats she’s received at her YouTube video channel, her low-carb product reviews with CarbSmart.com, and where she sees the future of low-carb living headed.
