New feature: email updates

Filed under: Site News — Tags: — Jon Gales @ 3:04 am

CarbWire has only been around for about 3 weeks, but we’ve had a ton of requests for an email list. Starting today, you can sign up to get an email every day/week that will give you the inside scoop to low-carb. It’s on the right sidebar under the search box on most content pages.

We will never rent/sell/give your email address to anyone, because we hate spam just as much as you do. If you sign up, you’ll only get the one email a day/week.

First week down, how are we doing?

Filed under: Site News — Tags: — Jon Gales @ 6:37 pm

As of today, CarbWire has been around for a week. For our readers that haven’t quite grabbed onto what our angle is, we’re a diet agnostic review of everything low-carb. What does that mean? We don’t favor one diet over another (we just report the news). As long as you’re losing weight, that’s what matters. Here’s a quick look at some of the great news from the past week:

* Krispy Kreme’s new low-carb douhnuts
* McDonalds’ new low-carb menu items
* Hardee’s introduces Low Carb Breakfast Bowl
* Arby’s Low Carbys

Our question to you is, how are we doing? What do you want to see more of? Anything you’d rather not see? Thoughts should be sent to comments@carbwire.com. We’re really excited about the future, and look forward to hearing from you.
